Job description
Polaris Engineering, a provider of engineering and construction solutions specialising in heavy fabrication and surface treatment services, is seeking experienced Trade Assistants for brownfields project work on a 2:1 FIFO roster out of Perth. This is an opportunity for ongoing, long-term project work with consistent rosters and genuine career progression.
Requirements:
2+ years' trade assistant or trades background experience. Current EWP ticket (11m+). Working at Heights (within 2 years). Confined Space (within 2 years). Construction White Card. Valid driver's licence. Brownfields project experience required. Forklift, Rigging/Dogging and HR licences desirable. Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
Work conditions:
$53 per hour. 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth. Ongoing, long-term project work with consistent rosters. Competitive hourly rates and career progression opportunities. Supportive, safety-focused team environment.
Responsibilities:
Support mechanical, structural and piping crews on brownfields sites. Carry out material handling and equipment support tasks. Maintain clean and organised work areas. Assist with shutdown and maintenance activities. Collaborate across multiple crews as required.
