BHP is seeking motivated and passionate applicants for its Copper SA Apprentice Program, 2027 intake, commencing January 2027. The four-year apprenticeship offers hands-on training across BHP's South Australian copper operations — Olympic Dam, Carrapateena and Prominent Hill — with nationally accredited qualifications and industry-leading mentoring. Available trades include Auto Electrical, Boilermaker, Electrical, Mobile Plant (Heavy Diesel) and Mechanical Fitting.

Requirements:

Demonstrated interest in a trade through experience, study or hobbies. Strong commitment to health and safety. Ability to balance work and study. Motivation to contribute to team goals. Police check, pre-employment medical, drug testing and reference checks may be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
