Job description
MPC Solutions is seeking experienced Process Technicians to join a valued gold mining client in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. As a Process Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of a mineral processing plant. Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will monitor and maintain key processing equipment and systems to maximise productivity and output. Temp-to-perm for the right person.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Process Technician in Gold. Strong understanding of mineral processing — Crusher, Mills, CIL, Elution Circuit, thickener, tails. Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams, P&IDs and other technical documentation. Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Australian working rights and a current driver's licence.
Work conditions:
$62-$69 per hour plus super depending on experience. 8/6 or 7/7 fly-in fly-out from Perth, or DIDO from Kalgoorlie. 15/13 FIFO from Perth. Temp to perm for the right person. Fantastic site camp with wet/dry mess, basketball court, gym and recreation rooms. Delicious on-site food catering. Australian working rights, current driver's licence, pre-employment medical and police check required.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain processing equipment including crushers, mills, CIL circuits and tailings. Perform routine inspections, maintenance and troubleshooting. Ensure all work complies with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations. Collect and analyse process data to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members. Contribute to standard operating procedures.
